Meet our Counselor

Mrs. Sarah Puerta

I graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Education and later received a Master's Degree in Counseling and Guidance.  

I began teaching in 1993 and began my school counseling career in 2005.  I have been a teacher as well as a counselor in both Texas and Louisiana.

I am blessed to support my students, family, staff, and community.  My favorite thing about my job is hearing kiddos laugh every day.

I am married and have four kids and two grandkids.  I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, making music, and hanging out with my chickens!
